Xiaomi Mi 9T Unveiled in Europe as Rebranded Redmi K20

Through a launch event in Europe, Xiaomi announced the Xiaomi Mi 9T smartphone. It is actually the rebranded version of the Redmi K20 smartphone that was announced at the end of the previous month in China.

Xiaomi Mi 9T Pricing and Variants

The Xiaomi Mi 9T carries a price tag of 299 euros for the base model that features 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of native storage. The higher model feature 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage is priced at 369 euros. The 64 GB model will be available for purchase from June 17. There is no word on the availability of the 128 GB variant.

Xiaomi Mi 9T Specifications

The Xiaomi Mi 9T is fitted with a 6.39-inch AMOLED display that carries support for full HD+ resolution. Since it is a notch-less display, the phone is equipped with a pop-up selfie camera of 16-megapixel. The rear shell of the smartphone is fitted with a triple camera setup that includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel telephoto lens and a 13-megapixel superwide lens.

The Mi 9T includes a 4,000mAh battery that carries support for 18W fast charging through USB-C. The Snapdragon 730 chipset is at the helm of the device. The MIUI 10 based Android 9 Pie OS comes preloaded on the device. The Mi 9T is also equipped with an in-display fingerprint scanner.
