Xiaomi Mi A3 with 6.1-inch Display and Snapdragon 665 Unveiled

Xiaomi has taken off covers from the Xiaomi Mi A3 Android One smartphone. It is actually Android One version of the Xiaomi Mi CC9e selfie-centric smartphone that was recently announced in China.

Xiaomi Mi A3 Specifications and Features

The Xiaomi Mi A3 smartphone comes with a 6.1-inch OLED display. The predecessor featured a 5.99-inch IPS LCD display that support full HD+ resolution. The OLED display with waterdrop notch carries support for HD+ resolution of 720 x 1560 pixels.

The Snapdragon 665 chipset is present under the hood of the Xiaomi Mi A3. The predecessor phone came with Snapdragon 660 SoC. The SoC on the Mi A3 is supported by 4 GB of RAM. The handset comes in storage editions of 64 GB and 128 GB. There is a microSD card slot on the device for additional storage.

The handset is fitted with a triple camera setup on its rear. It includes Sony IMX582 48-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For capturing selfies, the handset features a selfie snapper of 32-megapixel.

The Xiaomi Mi A3 houses a 4,030mAh battery that supports 10W charging. The smartphone features an in-screen fingerprint scanner. It also features a 3.5mm audio jack.

Xiaomi Mi A3 Price and Release Date

The Xiaomi Mi A3 variants such as 64 GB and 128 GB versions are respectively priced at $249 and $329. It can be bought in colors like Blue, White and Gray. The smartphone is now available for pre-orders in Spain. Its shipments will begin on July 24.
