Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro poses for the camera

This morning, Xiaomi has officially confirmed that the long-rumored Mi CC9 Pro will be making it’s official debut on November 5th.

This device will be the first from the company to sports a penta-camera setup, which will feature an impressive 108 megapixels main snapper and offers up to 5X optical zoom.

Right now, an alleged render of the Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro has also made it’s way to Chinese Weibo, offering us a good look at the rear design of the device. In fact, most of the recent Xiaomi smartphones (except Redmi) have been employing the same design ethos for the back panel, which are usually characterize with a vertically-arranged camera at the top-left corner.

The only difference that possibly sets them apart will be the additional sensors on the Mi CC9 Pro. As of now, the identities for the other four sensors in the penta-camera setup remain a mystery. However, since the device offers a 5X optical zoom capability, many believed that the device is likely to feature a periscope sensor as well.

Besides having five cameras, the Mi CC9 Pro will also sport a quad-LED flash to support poor lighting environments.
