Xiaomi had launched the Mi Max 3 with a massive 6.99-inch display in 2018. The Chinese manufacturer could be working on Mi Max 4 smartphone. The specifications and pricing of the upcoming Mi Max 4 series have surfaced on Weibo well ahead of its launch.
Going by the previous release patterns, Xiaomi may debut the Mi Max 4 series by late second quarter or early third quarter this year. However, the new leak has managed to reveal vital information on the Mi Max 4 and Mi Max 4 Pro smartphones couple of months ahead of launch.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 4 could be featuring a 7.2-inch display with waterdrop notch. This will allow the smartphone to deliver an impressive screen-to-body ratio. The Snapdragon 660 chipset could be powering the Mi Max 4. For photography, it may feature a dual camera setup with 48-megapixel Samsung GM1 sensor. It is expected to arrive with MIUI 11 flavored Android 9 Pie OS. It may receive power from 5,800mAh battery. The Mi Max 4 variants such as 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage, 6 GB RAM + 64 GB storage and 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage could be respectively priced at 1,599 Yuan, 1,799 and 1,999 Yuan.
The leak further reveals that the Mi Max 4 Pro could be featuring the same sized display and it may be fueled by Snapdragon 675 SoC. It may come with 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 as primary sensor in its dual camera setup and a 20-megapixel frontal shooter. It may arrive in variants such as 6 GB RAM + 64 GB storage, 6 GB RAM + 128 GB stoage and 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage.
