Xiaomi Mi MIX is undoubtedly one of the most impressive smartphones from the company. Recently, Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun had confirmed that it has teamed up with Phillipe Starck, the designer of Mi MIX to build the next-generation Mi MIX phone.
News coming from Chinese media has revealed that the company is also rumored to be working on a lighter version of Mi MIX. It is dubbed as Mi MIX Lite. Speculations have it that the phone will be powered by Xiaomi’s in-house Surge S1 chipset.
The phone is rumored to come with RAM variants like 2 GB and 3 GB and storage options like 16 GB and 64 GB. Its base model may arrive with an affordable pricing of 999 Yuan ($145) which is quite low compared to the 3,999 Yuan ($580) pricing of the original Mi MIX. The 3 GB RAM model is pegged to cost 1,499 Yuan ($217). Apart from these details, no other information is available for the alleged Xiaomi Mi MIX Lite smartphone.
Xiaomi Mi MIX that sports super-slim bezels on three sides and higher screen-to-body ratio was launched a concept phone. However, the company was present at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) to officially unveil to the global audience.
