Xiaomi Mi Note 2 with non-dual curved display certified

Alas! This will definitely be a good news for all the Xiaomi fans out there who do not like the dual-curved display of the new Mi Note 2. Apparently, the Chinese manufacturer is currently prepping to release another variant of the handset which will come with a flat display specially for those who’re not used to having a curved display.

This device with the model number Xiaomi 2015213, has already been certified by Chinese TENAA earlier today, hinting its imminent release into the smartphone market. Apart from its slight difference in terms of its design, the new variant will share the same specs sheet as the current Mi Note 2.

As a quick refresh, it is expected to feature a 5.7″ FHD display, Snapdragon 821 SoC, 4GB/6GB of RAM, 64GB/128GB native storage, 22.5MP main snapper, 8MP front-facing camera sensor, 4,070mAh non-removable battery as well as Android 6.0 running out of the box.

Although Xiaomi has yet to reveal any details on this upcoming handset, but rumors suggest that the device could be unveiled later this month.
