The Xiaomi Mi Pad 3 was pegged to launch in last year in the month of November. However, its arrival was delayed. Xiaomi has now finally announced the successor of Mi Pad 3. The silently launched Mi Pad 3 will go on sale from tomorrow.
As far as appearance is concerned, the Xiaomi Mi Pad 3 resembles the Mi Pad 2 that was released in 2015 as it features a full metallic chassis that measures 200.4 x 132.6 x 7 mm and it weighs around 328 grams. The Mi Pad 3 has a 7.9-inch LCD display that produces a resolution of 2,048 x 1,536 pixels with a pixel density of 326 ppi. It is driven by MediaTek MT8176 chipset that features two cores of Cortex A72 running at 2.1 GHz and four cores of Cortex A53 working at 1.7 GHz. The SoC is supported by 4 GB of RAM and it provides users with 64 GB of storage.
It runs on Android OS customized with MIUI 8. There is no Windows 10 edition for Mi Pad 3. Other specs include 13-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel frontal shooter, USB Type-C, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, v4.1 Bluetooth and 6,600 mAh battery with 5V/2A fast charging support. It will go on sale with a pricing of 1,499 Yuan ($217) in China from 6 AM on April 6 through Xiaomi Mall, Lynx, JD, Suning and Mi.com
