Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 Arriving Soon?

Xiaomi had launched the Mi Pad 3 tablet in April 2017. The tablet is no longer available for buying. The rumor mill has been speculating that the Chinese firm has no plans to debut a successor model. Zang Zhiyuan who is the director of marketing with Xiaomi has confirmed on Weibo that the company is working on a tablet.

He has also revealed the reason why Xiaomi Mi Pad 3 is no longer for purchase. He says that the tablet is completely sold out. The tablet was made available with an attractive price tag in comparison to other tablets in its category. There is no confirmation on the arrival of the next-generation Xiaomi tablet.

It has been only 7 months since the launch of the Mi Pad 3. The company may want to launch a new tablet in Q2 2018. If the Mi Pad 4 is arriving next year, the company may replenish the stock of Mi Pad 3.

Rumors have it that Xiaomi may launch Mi Pad 3 with a 2-in-1 hybrid design. Since leading brands and even other Chinese brands have released 2-in-1 devices, there is a possibility that Xiaomi may debut Mi Pad 4 with 2-in-1 design. There is a possibility that the new tablet may carry support for LTE connectivity.
