Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 Key Specs Appear; Snapdragon 660 May Power it

Earlier this week, a popular industry analyst from China had claimed that the Mi Pad 4 is currently in the research and development phase. It appears that the Mi Pad 4 exists for real as XDA Developers that has come across its leaked firmware files have managed to spill some of its key specs.

The firmware files hint that the Mi Pad 4 tablet may feature an 18:9 aspect ratio screen. The inclusion of such a screen on a table could mean that it may feature an elongated design. Fans who are waiting to see the next generation Mi Pad tablet are advised to wait for more evidences to confirm the aspect ratio of Mi Pad 4. The publication claims that it will be featuring an LCD panel. It has been also revealed through firmware files that the display of the Mi Pad 4 supports a pixel density of 320ppi.

Xiaomi Mi Pad 3

The leaked firmware files do not contain details on the RAM and storage variant of the Mi Pad 4. However, it has revealed that it is powered by Snapdragon 660 SoC. For photography, the tablet may feature an f/2.0 aperture 13-megpaixel OmniVision OV13855 and f/2.0 aperture 5-megapixel Samsung S5K5E8 sensor. The device will be driven by a 6,000mAh battery like the Mi Pad 3.
