Tomorrow, Xiaomi will announce the Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 along with a slew of other products. A poster of the MIX Fold 2 is now doing the rounds on Weibo. It gives a good look at the rear design of the device.
As can be seen in the image above, the Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 will be sporting a horizontal camera module, which will house three cameras, a pill-shaped LED flash and the Leica branding. The right edge of the device seems to feature a volume rocker and a power button, which seems to be integrated with a fingerprint sensor.
According to a Chinese tipster, the Xiaomi MIX Fold 2’s rear camera setup will be headlined by a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 primary camera. It will be accompanied by a 13-megapixel OmniVision OV13B ultra-wide camera, and an 8-megapixel telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom.
The MIX Fold 2 will feature a 6.56-inch Samsung E5 AMOLED display on the front. It will carry support for an FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The device is likely to have an 8.02-inch foldable AMOLED screen on the inside with a refresh rate of 120Hz. It may feature an under-display camera.
The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset will power the MIX Fold 2. As per the TENAA listing of the device, the device will arrive in two variants: 12 GB RAM + 512 GB storage and 12 GB RAM + 1 TB storage. It will pack a 4,500mAh battery with 67W fast charging support. The device will measure 11.2mm when folded and measure 5.4mm when unfolded. It will weigh around 262 grams.
