On Aug. 14, Xiaomi held a mega launch event to announce multiple devices, such as the Xiaomi MIX Fold 3, the Redmi K60 Ultra, the Xiaomi Pad 6 Max, and the Xiaomi Band 8 Pro. Today, the MIX Fold 3 and K60 Ultra went on sale for the first time in the home market. Soon after making these devices available for purchase, the brand confirmed its first sales results.

As mentioned in the poster below, the Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 has achieved a remarkable feat by achieving sales that are 2.25 times higher than its predecessor in just five minutes. This marks a new sales record for Xiaomi’s flagship folding device.

In a similar vein, the Redmi K60 Ultra has broken records as well, with sales surpassing 220,000 units in the first five minutes of making it available for purchase. This accomplishment establishes a new benchmark for Redmi’s K-series Ultra models’ first sale results.

The Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 comes in three variants: 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage, 16 GB RAM + 512 GB storage, and 16 GB RAM + 1 TB storage. These variants are priced at 8,999 Yuan ($1,235), 9,999 Yuan ($1,370), and 10,999 Yuan ($1,510), respectively.

On the other hand, the Redmi K60 Ultra comes in five options, such as 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage, 16 GB RAM + 256 GB storage, 16 GB RAM + 512 GB storage, 16 GB RAM + 1 TB storage, and 24 GB RAM + 1 TB storage. These variants cost 2,599 Yuan ($356), 2,799 Yuan ($383), 2,999 Yuan ($410), 3,299 Yuan ($452), and 3,599 Yuan ($493), respectively.

The MIX Fold 3 is unlikely to release in the global market, whereas a tweaked version of the K60 Ultra will debut soon globally with the Xiaomi 13T Pro moniker.
