Last week, Xiaomi marked the end of the company’s MIUI 9 development by announcing a list of 40 devices which can be upgraded to the latest MIUI 9. Today, the Chinese company had held an annual MIUI assembly meeting in China where they discusses the progress and improvements of their MIUI milestones each year.
During the annual event, Xiaomi’s co-founder and VP Hong Feng had also officially kicked off the development of the next generation’s MIUI 10 – which promises to pick up and improve all the unfinished businesses from the MIUI 9.
As a quick recap, this year’s MIUI 9 had brought to us a couple of interesting and useful features including the split screen capability, brand new Mi Video app, easy to use image editor, face-lifted notification panel, buffed up app loading time and many more. This year’s MIUI 10 main focus according to reports, will be on machine learning and artificial intelligence as the company seek to bridge the gap in this aspect. Surely, it will be exciting to see Xiaomi’s own smart assistant like Siri and Alexa in the near future.
