Xiaomi is all set to debut the Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus smartphones tomorrow. The rumor mill has already leaked the specifications and pricing of the Redmi 5 duo. The pricing of these phones have surfaced once again as they have been found listed on AliExpress.
Previous reports have revealed that the Xiaomi Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus will be respectively priced at 699 Yuan (~$106) and 999 Yuan (~$150) and these phones will be available for buying starting from Dec. 12.
The listing of Redmi 5 on AliExpress shows that it is priced at $199. It also states that the handset will be available in color choices like Black, Blue, Pink and Gold. The Redmi 5 Plus is listed with a price tag of $249 and it is also listed with same color choices. The Redmi 5 and 5 Plus pages on AliExpress says that these phones are on “pre-sale” stage and it will be publishing more details on Dec. 7.
Even though the retailer site has mentioned the pricing of both phones, we advise our readers to wait for Xiaomi to release correct information through tomorrow’s launch event. Both the phones are expected to arrive with 18:9 aspect ratio display.
