Around a month ago, the rumor mill had revealed information on the Redmi Note 5A smartphone that is speculated to arrive as a cheaper edition of the Redmi Note 5 that is pegged to debut later this year. The leaked specifications of the Redmi Note 5A have appeared once again.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A will be coming with 5.5-inch screen that will produce a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. The low-end phone will be powered by Snapdragon 425 chipset that includes a 1.4 GHz processor. The SoC of the Redmi Note 5a is supported by 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of native storage. It will come loaded with Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS.
The Note 5A will be coming with a rear camera of 13-megapixel and a selfie snapper of 5-megapixel. It will be packed with a 3,080mAh battery. It will be coming with a microUSB port and a 3.5mm audio jack. It measures 153 x 76.2 x 7.59mm and its weight is 150 grams.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A is expected to be available with a pricing of 999 Yuan (~$150). The above image suggests that this smartphone may not feature does not feature a fingerprint scanner. The topside features a 3.5mm audio jack and the bottom side features a microUSB port and a pair of external speakers.
