Xiaomi had did it once again! This time round, their flash sale for their latest Redmi Note 2 has fetched a sales record of 800,000 in just 12 hours!

This flash sale however was only available to the Chinese customers on Sunday, but is also expected to hit other Asian countries including Singapore and Malaysia in the next few weeks as well.

Right now, the Redmi Note 2 has been powered by MediaTek Helio X10 SoC but reports have been suggesting that there will be another version of the device being powered by the Snapdragon 615 SoC instead. Of course, this version should cost slightly more than the MediaTek’s variant.
