ZTE Axon M Unveiled with Dual Screen Foldable Design

Through a launch event in the U.S., ZTE unveiled the Axon M smartphone as its first dual screen foldable phone. Here are all the details of the smartphone.

ZTE Axon M Specifications and Features

The ZTE Axon M has a pair of 5.2-inch screens that support full HD resolution. The two displays together produce an aspect ratio of 1.78:1. Both the screens are protected by Gorilla Glass 5.

The Snapdragon 821 chipset along with 4 GB of RAM powers the Axon M phone. It features an internal storage of 64 GB and comes with a microSD card slot. It is preloaded with Android 7.1.2 Nougat. The device features only one camera of 20-megapixel that is equipped with f/1.8 aperture and image stabilization.

The device is fitted with dual speakers and it also includes a Hi-Fi audio chip. It also features a 3.5mm audio jack. A 3,180mAh battery is packed insider the phone that can be charged through USB-C. It carries support for Quick Charge 3.0.

The ZTE Axon M can be used in three modes and users can switch between them by pressing the “Axon M” virtual button. The Extended Mode labelled as A in the above image joins both the screens for wider screen space. The Dual Mode that is denoted as AB in the above image can join both the screens. However, each screen can display independently display own content. For instance, users can run Google Docs on one screen and YouTube app on the other. Labelled as AA, the Mirror Mode duplicates the contents of one screen on the other.

ZTE Axon M Pricing

The ZTE Axon M will be exclusively available through AT&T in the U.S. with monthly installments of $24.17. In Q1 2018, it will be coming to other markets like China, Japan and Europe.
