A recent report had claimed that ZTE will be launching the Axon 10 5G smartphone in July. Today, ZTE has released an official confirmation that the smartphone will debut in the coming month. The Chinese firm has already launched Axon 10 Pro 5G in Europe. It appears that it will be arriving as one of the first 5G phones in the China.
The local mobile operators in China have recently received 5G licenses to begin operations in the country. It means various smartphone manufacturers will soon launch their first 5G phones in the country. Apart from Axon 10 Pro 5G, Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 5G, OPPO Reno 10x Zoom 5G, Huawei’s Mate X and Mate 20 X are expected to go official as the first 5G smartphones in China. As of this writing, ZTE is yet to confirm the pricing of the Axon 10 Pro 5G for China.
The ZTE Axon 10 Pro 5G includes a 6.47-inch full HD+ AMOLED display with in-screen fingerprint reader. The Snapdragon 855 chipset with X50 5G modem powers the smartphone. It may come with up to 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of native storage. The 4,000mAh battery of the phone supports wireless charging and Quick Charge 4+. The back panel of the phone features a 48-megapixel + 20-megapixel + 8-megapixel triple camera setup and a front-facing camera of 20-megapixel.
