ZTE announced its mid-range, dual-lens camera sporting Blade V8 at CES 2017 but no disclosure was made as to when the device will hit China. It has now been revealed that the ZTE Blade V8 would be available in China, Germany, and Spain in March. The smartphone was earlier revealed as also coming to Russia and Japan in February, making both countries the first to get the Blade V8.
The ZTE Blade V8 was announced along with the Blade V8 Pro and it comes with a three-stage metal body despite it being a mid-range smartphone. But the most spectacular feature on the device is perhaps the dual-lens camera it packs. The lens are arranged in an horizontal plane with the flash light sitting in the middle of the lenses, tilted a little to the left sensor which should be the main sensor.
On the specs bench, the Blade V8 features a 5.2-inch 1080 pixels display an is powered by a Snapdragon 435 chipset with octa-core processor. The device packs a 13MP front-facing camera, while at the rear s a 13MP Sony IMX258 main sensor with 5P lens, f/2.0 aperture and the second camera is a 2MP color sensor. It runs on MiFavor 4.0 based on Android 7.0 Marshmallow OS and comes in champagne gold, gray, silver, and rose gold colors. no word yet on the price of the smartphone.
