*This procedure works only on a PC running on Windows OS, and will not work if your device is running on 11.0.A.7.5 firmware.
- Download the Root_J.zip file.
- Extract the files to your desktop.
- Enable USB Debugging on the Sony Xperia J, by going to Menu > Settings > Developer Options > USB Debugging.
- Connect the Xperia J to your PC using a USB cable.
- Execute the RunMe.bat application.
- Follow the few simple steps on the program.
- Congratulation you’ve successfully rooted your Sony Xperia J!
