Most of us had already heard about of rumors that Meizu will be holding a year end launch event on December 20th next month. Right now, new information have also revealed that the star of this upcoming launch event will be the Meizu M6S which is expected to go head to head with Xiaomi’s upcoming Redmi Note 5 mid-ranger.
To make things even spicier, a pair of the Meizu M6S live images were also leaked earlier today which reaffirms the existence of this soon to be announced handset. Similar to the upcoming Redmi Note 5, the Meizu M6S will also be sporting a 18:9 widescreen display that seems to have became a hype among Chinese smartphone manufacturers recently. Unlike most other Meizu smartphones, the company’s signature oblong Home button had also been ditched on this upcoming unit in order to reduce the device’s bezels.
Meizu M6S Specifications
According to reports out of China, the Meizu M6S is expected to feature a 5.7-inches FHD display which is powered by a MT6793 SoC out of the box. Under its memory compartment, there will be 3GB of RAM as well as 32GB worth of internal storage space. Camera-wise, it is slated to come with a single 13 megapixel main snapper which will be paired with a 5 megapixel front-facing selfie-cam.
As for its pricing, the Meizu M6S could be priced below 1,000 Yuan ($151).
