Owners of the LG optimus L7 ans Optimus 4X HD should be rather jealous after LG has begun to roll out the Jelly Bean update for the Optimus L9 several days ago. But don’t worry, it’s now your turn to receive the Jelly Bean flavor for your device. According to a blog post by LG Germany, the update is expected to be available by the end of this month – which means it should hit your device by the end of next week. This update will bring the software version up to Android 4.1.2. You can also expect a new customizable lock screen, new notifications field, Project Butter and some other new features on your device after the update.
Since this is not an over-the-air ( OTA ) update, you’ll have to download the update using the LG Mobile Support Tool that comes with your device. So are you excited for the Jelly Bean update?
