HMD Global has confirmed that the Nokia 6 (2018) is launching on Jan. 5. Before the launch, the smartphone has just appeared on Geekbench benchmarking site. Today, several photos showing the Nokia 6 (2018) in real have appeared on Weibo.
The above images show that the upper and lower bezels have been slightly reduced compared to the original Nokia 6. Even though the rumor has claimed that the Nokia 6 (2018) will be coming with a full screen design with 18:9 aspect ratio display, the leaked images suggest that it will be coming with a traditional 16:9 screen. Interestingly, the TENAA listing suggests that it supports full HD resolution and not FHD+ resolution. The upper bezel has the selfie camera and earpiece. The on-screen keys can be seen above the barren bottom bezel.
The design of the camera module and LED flash is similar to the Nokia 5. Compared to the original Nokia 6, the fingerprint scanner has been relocated on its back panel on its newer model. The Nokia 6 (2018) has golden lining around the camera module, fingerprint scanner and the metallic frame.
The Nokia 6 (2018) will be coming with a 5.5-inch screen. It is powered by Snapdragon 630 chipset and 4 GB of RAM. It will be coming in 32 GB and 64 GB storage models.
The Nokia 6 (2018) will have the same rear and front mounted cameras that are available on the original Nokia 6. It will be packed with a 3,000mAh battery.
