Nokia 6 went up for its first flash sales in China today and the result is very well encouraging for the HMD Global controlled brand. The device is reported to have sold out in just one minute. The Nokia 6 is being sold exclusively on Jingdong (JD.com) in China and the sales opened this morning but many were left stunned when in just a minute, all available units were sold out, with the website listing the product as sold out.
Nokia 6 comes in at 1,699 yuan which may not be considered as very expensive. The device received a huge amount of registrations ahead of the flash sales, peaking at over 1 million persons. It is hoped the company has a lot of units in stock to meet the growing demand and help them capture a chunk of the market share immediate.
The Nokia 6 sports a 5.5-inch display with 1080 pixels resolution. It is fired up by a Snapdragon 430 chipset which is backed by a generous 4GB of RAM. There is 64GB of storage onboard with the option of expanding it further via microSD. On the camera end, the device carries a 16MP rear sensor with a single LED flash lying just underneath it. While up front, there is an 8MP front-facing camera for sleek selfies. There is a modest 3,000mAh battery inside the smartphone. We expect another round of flash sale soon and Nokia is expected to announce the date of the next flash sale soon.
