TODAY MARKS THE 4TH BIRTHDAY OF THE T-MOBILE G1

Exactly 4 years ago is a special day that most Android fans should remember, as it is the birth of the first Android device known as the T-Mobile G1 which initially runs on the Android 1.5, but was later updated to Android 2.0.

Even though the T-Mobile G1 was equipped only with a mere 528MHz Qualcomm processor, it doesn’t really matter much to us since the Android Market is still in its infancy during that time and also because we use the device mostly only for calling and simple web browsing purposes. Whats unique about the T-Mobile G1 was its side kick QWERTY keyboard which literally amazed many people during that time. Below is the official advertisement for the T-Mobile G1 back in 2008, but before I forget, happy birthday T-Mobile G1!
