Vivo is gearing up to announce the Vivo NEX 2 dual screen smartphone on Dec. 11. It goes without saying that the USP of the smartphone is its dual screen design. A Chinese leakster has shared some vital information on the specifications of the Vivo NEX 2.
According to the leakster, the Vivo NEX 2 dual screen smartphone will be featuring a 6.59-inch display with screen sound casting technology. The rear screen of the phone will be measuring 5.5 inches. It will be equipped with a hidden type of earphone, claims the tipster. Users will be able to use the second screen independently.
There is no confirmation on the processor that will be powering the Vivo NEX 2. However, it will be the first Vivo smartphone to feature 10 GB of RAM. The rear-facing triple camera setup will include f/1.3 aperture lens.
The tipster seems to have some negative vibes about the smartphone. He has claimed that the phone is packed with a smaller battery which doesn’t good since dual displays that can consume more power. The production version of the Vivo NEX 2 is not running on Snapdragon 855 which suggests that it could be fueled by Snapdragon 845 SoC. He has added that the second screen of the phone is poorly integrated.
