Xiaomi Mi Band 3 Launching by June, Claims Industry Analyst

Huami Technologies CEO had recently confirmed that the company will be soon announcing the Mi Band 3 fitness tracker this year. However, there is no official confirmation on the launch date of the new fitness tracker from Xiaomi. Numerous netizens who are eagerly waiting for Mi Band 3 are discussing on its launch on Weibo. Yesterday, well-known industry analyst Pan Jiutang who is one of the partners of Xiaomi’s Industry Investment Department has released a satisfactory answer for those who are waiting for the arrival of Mi Band 3.

According to Jiutang, Xiaomi had launched the Mi Band 2 in early June last year. Hence, the launch date of Mi Band 3 should not be later than June this year. Recent reports have revealed that Mi Band 3 will be equipped with an OLED color display and it will also carry support for gestures.

The Bluetooth certification of the Mi Band 3 has revealed that it will be arriving with Bluetooth 4.2. There are no details available on the other specs of the device. It is speculated to be equipped with usual functions like pedometer, heart rate sensor and sensors for detecting blood pressure and blood oxygen levels.
