A new rumor out of China today has suggested that the upcoming Xiaomi Mi Note 2 may in fact be launched as the Mi Pro instead. This news came after Xiaomi created a new Weibo page named as the ‘Mi Pro’, which give rise to some possibility that the recent 3C certified Mi Note 2 may come this new moniker.
For the past few weeks, we had been hearing a lot about the Mi Note 2 – from its alleged leaked images to its rumored specs sheet – giving us a heads up of what to expect from this upcoming powerhouse.
If rumors are to be true, then the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is slated to feature a 5.7″ 2K curved display, a Snapdragon 821 SoC, 6GB of RAM, 64GB internal storage, 13 megapixels dual-rear camera as well as a 8MP front-camera for selfies and video call purposes.
Availability-wise, the device is expected to be made official during a press event on September 24th.
