The Redmi 6 Pro is debuting on June 25. Plenty of photos of the smartphone have already in the recent to confirm that it will be arriving with a notched display. Today, through a new teaser, Xiaomi has confirmed that the smartphone will be coming with a convenient switch for disabling the notch.
As it can be seen in the below image, the portion of the display on either side of the notch can be blackened to make it appear as if it has been disabled. The reason why Xiaomi has included this feature on Redmi 6 Pro is that there are many smartphone users who are not really happy with notched display design. However, the only reason why many manufacturers have launched smartphones with such a design is that it provides a huge screen space.
