The Xiaomi Redmi S2 is an upcoming budget phone from the company. It is confirmed to debut on May 10 in China. It is expected to arrive as the best ever selfie phone from the company. AliExpress has already listed the smartphone with its specs and official images few days ahead of its official unveiling.
The AliExpress listing of the Redmi S2 reveals that it features a 5.99-inch display that supports HD+ resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels. It receives power from Snapdragon 625 SoC. The handset is expected to be available in multiple storage and RAM models like 16 GB storage + 2 GB RAM, 32 GB storage + 3 GB RAM and 64 GB storage + 4 GB RAM. It is expected to receive power from 3,080mAh battery. The Redmi S2 will be loaded with Android 8.1 Oreo. It has an LED-enabled 16-megapixel selfie camera and 12-megapixel + 5-megapixel dual rear cameras.
The above images seem to be official images of the Redmi S2. The new photos show the S2 will look like the Xiaomi Mi 6X and Redmi Note 5 Pro phone as it features u-shaped antenna design, rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and vertical dual cameras.
