Nokia 6 receives unofficial price hike via third party retailer

Earlier today, we just reported that the highly anticipated Nokia 6 was sold out in less than a minute after its first flash sale kicked off in China. Right now, the same device had already received an unofficial price hike via third party retailer who listed the device in JD.com with a hefty price tag of 2,199 Yuan up form the official retail price of just 1,699 Yuan.

Such situation of course, isn’t uncommon in China as third party retailers normally set up multiple accounts with different addresses to make their purchase during the flash sale and deliver the parcel on the same day they received – therefore giving the buyers a false impression that they do hold the stocks for the device.

According to reports out of China, only 10,000 Nokia 6 are up for grabs in the first flash sale which probably explains why the device was sold out so quickly. Obviously, 10,000 units are far away from the 1.25 million registrations which the device had accumulated over the past one week.
