Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is under the wraps, but the rumor mill has speculated that it may get unveiled on April 19, the day when Xiaomi Mi 6 will be announced. Other speculations suggest that it may get unveiled in the next month. Whether the Mi Max 2 arrives this week or in the coming month, its launch seems to be imminent as freshly leaked photos have appeared.
As it can be seen in the leaked image, the back panel of Mi Max 2 has the rear camera (with a visible bump) and LED flash locate at the top-left corner. The rear also features a fingerprint reader and Mi branding at the bottom. The bottom side of the phone has a USB Type-C port placed in between a pair of external speakers. The predecessor Mi Max phone features a microUSB port.
A 3.5mm audio jack is present on the topside along with an IR blaster of the Mi Max 2. The images suggest the Mi Max 2 has a metallic chassis that are slightly curved towards the edges. The Mi Max 2 is pegged to come with a 6.4-inch full HD screen, Snapdragon 626 chipset, 4 GB of RAM, 128 GB native storage, Android 7.1.1 Nougat with MIUI placed on it and a 5,000 mAh battery.
