Xiaomi Mi 6 flagship smartphone has been officially introduced by Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun. It comes with a 5.15-inch display that supports a full HD resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. It is driven by Snapdragon 835 SoC that includes a 2.4 GHz octa-core processor and Adreno 540 graphics. The SoC is supported by 6 GB of RAM.
The Mi 6 comes in two native storage options of 64 GB and 128 GB. The rear features one of the USPs of the phone, the dual rear camera snappers which includes a 12-megapixel wide angle camera and a 12-megapixel telephoto shooter. It is equipped with features like 2x lossless zoom, OIS dual LED flash. It does not feature a 3.5mm audio jack but the phone is enabled with a pair of external speakers. The fingerprint scanner is embedded under the display. It is preloaded with Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS and it also features a USB Type-C port. It includes a 3,350 mAh battery.
The 64 GB Mi 6 is priced at $363 whereas the 128 GB model costs $421. The phone comes in Blue, White and Black color variants. A special Ceramic edition of Xiaomi Mi 6 featuring a golden rim is priced at $436. Its sales will begin from April 28 in China.
