The OPPO R11 which was unveiled back in June this year, have been one of the best selling smartphone in the Chinese market so far. To keep its sales momentum going, the Chinese company seems to be now prepping a new version of the device which runs on the more powerful Snapdragon 835 SoC. Similarly, the new version is also slated to come with 6GB worth of RAM as well. Needless to say, this is definitely a huge upgrade to the current OPPO R11 which packs a Snapdragon 660 SoC with 4GB of RAM.
This news came after the new OPPO R11 with the buffed up specs was spotted on Geekbench, hinting that the device could soon be making its way to the shelves. Aside from the aforementioned differences, the upcoming model could also be coming with 128GB internal storage space, up from just 64GB. Right now, there still isn’t any official words on this upcoming model so do not be too hopeful that the device will be made official.
