The rumor mill has been referring to the tenth anniversary iPhone that would be debuting next month as the iPhone 8. Some reports have also called the iPhone X. Fresh information suggests that it may probably launch as the iPhone Edition.
Some sources in Shenzhen, China who have reportedly seen the packaging of the tenth anniversary iPhone claim that it would be debuting as iPhone Edition. Speculations are rife that Apple would be selling limited units of the iPhone Edition. It is rumored to arrival with a full-screen design, wireless charging support, 3D face recognition tore place Touch ID sensor and glass body.
Apple is also expected to unveil the successor editions of the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus smartphones. Even though the rumor mill has called these upcoming devices with respective names like the iPhone 7S and iPhone 7S Plus, they are now speculated to break cover as the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus.
Apple has already confirmed that it would be holding an unveil event on Sept. 12. The event will be held at the new Steve Jobs Theater. The event is also expected to unleash an LTE enabled Apple Watch and a 4K Apple TV.
