Last week, we’d been treated to a couple of Samsung W2018’s leaked images which gave us a good look at the front and rear view of its design. Right now, the same gold clad unit had been spotted in another round of leaks.
Nothing really new here, except the leaked images this time round finally shows us the side view of the device and it looks rather thick than sleek to be honest. Although its a flipped phone after all, but with today’s technology, we do expect Samsung to reduce the bulkiness of the handset as its side’s thickness doesn’t seem to differ much from the W2013 which was announced 5 years ago. Overall, the Samsung W2018 also does not come with any major facelift compared to the current W2017 even though there are subtle changes here and there including the relocation of its fingerprint from the bottom of the camera sensor to the right of it this time round.
As a quick recap, the Samsung W2018 clamshell is expected to be powered by the latest Snapdragon 835 SoC which is coupled with 6GB of RAM as well as 64GB internal storage space under its memory compartment. Aside from that, its TENAA listing also sheds some lights on its other specs which include a 4.2? FHD AMOLED display, 12 megapixel main snapper, 5 megapixel selfie-cam at the front, as well as a 2,300mAh power plant.
According to reports, the Samsung W2018 could be announced as early as the end of this month and will cost more than 20,000 Yuan ($3015).
