When Redmi had unveiled the Xiaomi Redmi 7A entry-level smartphone in May, it had only made it available in Matte Black and Morning Blue color editions. Today, the company has announced new color option called “Foggy Gold” for the Redmi 7A phone. Starting from July 17, the Redmi 7 A Foggy Gold edition will be available for buying.
The images of the Redmi 7A Foggy Gold reveals that it features a golden colored rear while its frontside is in black. It will sell in three editions such as 2 GB RAM + 16 GB storage, 2 GB RAM + 32 GB storage and 3 GB RAM + 32 GB storage. They are respectively priced at 549 Yuan, 599 Yuan and 799 Yuan.
The Redmi 7A has a 5.45-inch IPS LCD display that produces HD+ resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels. It supports an aspect ratio of 18:9. The Snapdragon 439 chipset is present under the hood of the device. It has a rear camera of 13-megapixel and on its front is a 5-megapixel selfie camera. The handset is backed by a 4,000mAh battery that supports 10W charging. The smartphone carries support for face unlock and it lacks a fingerprint scanner. For additional storage, the handset carries support for microSD card slot. The MIUI 10 based Android 9 Pie OS comes preloaded on the device.
