Vivo NEX 3 Spotted in a Hands-on Video

Yesterday, we just reported on a series of Vivo NEX 3 real life images which had made it’s way to Chinese Weibo. Now, another hands-on video of the upcoming device had appeared as well – giving us a good look at the overall design of the handset.

As seen from the screenshots taken from the video, it’s curves along the sides of the waterfall display is much more profound and stretches more extensively towards the back panel. This has effectively helped to reduce the size bezels which has became almost totally invisible.

According to Vivo NEX’s product manager, the waterfall design has helped the device to achieve an incredible 99.6% screen-to-body ratio, which is definitely the highest in the world so far. On the second image, we could see the Vivo NEX 3’s under-display fingerprint sensor in action as well.

It’s circular camera module on the back panel comprises of three camera sensors, including a 64 megapixels main snapper and two 13 megapixels sensors. On the front, it’s elevating selfie camera is said to feature a 16 megapixels dual-camera setup as well.

Recently, the Vivo NEX 3 had also been spotted on Geekbench with some impressive scores in terms of it’s overall performance. It has achieved a score of 3,627 points and 11,347 points for the single-core and multi-core tests respectively.

Vivo NEX 3 Specifications

According to it’s official TENAA listing, the Vivo Nex 3 5G will arrive with a 6.89-inch AMOLED display with 1080×2256 pixels screen resolution. It has an overall footprint of 167.44×76.14×9.4 mm and weighs approximately 218.5 grams.

Under the hood, the device will be driven by the latest Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC and has up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB onboard storage. Although many believed 12GB RAM is an overkill for smartphones, but that doesn’t seems to stop most flagship devices to be packed with hefty RAMs.

Moving on to it’s camera, the Vivo Nex 3 will have a triple-camera setup which comprises of a 64 megapixels main snapper, alongside a duo of 13 megapixels shooters which are believed to be ultra wide angle and telephoto lens respectively.
