Redmi K30 Full Specifications and a Live Shot Leaked

Redmi took to Weibo to confirm the Dec. 10 launch date for the Redmi K30 5G phone yesterday. Rumors have it that there will be a separate launch event for the Redmi K30 Pro 5G early next year. As far as Dec. 10 unveil event is concerned, the Chinese manufacturer 4G-only and 5G editions of the Redmi K30. A fresh leak has revealed the full specifications of the Redmi K30 handset.

According to the leak, the M1912G7BE / M1912G7BC Xiaomi phone that was certified by the 3C authority of China recently is the upcoming Redmi K30 4G phone. The new leak reveals the Redmi K30 4G will be coming with a 6.6-inch IPS LCD display panel. The pill-shaped cutout on the screen will be equipped with a 20-megapixel + 2-megapixel. The screen will offer up to 120Hz refresh rate and will be protected by Gorilla Glass 5.

The Redmi K20 was powered by Snapdragon 730G. The same SoC is expected to fuel the Redmi K30 along with 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage in its base model. The rear side of the phone will feature a quad camera setup. It will comprise of a 64-megapixel main lens, an 8-megapixel telephoto lens, a 13-megapixel ultrawide shooter and a 2-megapixel lens.

The Redmi K30 will run on Android 10 OS skinned with MIUI 11. When it comes to connectivity, the phone will offer features such as NFC, IR blaster and 3.5mm headphone slot. It may debut with a staring price of 1,999 Yuan ($284).

Shown above is a leaked shot of the Redmi K30 (left) alongside the recently unveiled Honor V30 (right). Other report have revealed that Snapdragon 735G driven Redmi K30 5G and MediaTek D1000 5G powered Redmi K30 Pro could be respectively priced around 2,500 ($355) and 3,000 Yuan ($427).
