LG V60 ThinQ, New 5G Phone May Debut at MWC 2020

LG is a known name at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) tech exhibition that is annually held in Barcelona, Spain. Last year, the South Korean company had launched the LG V50 ThinQ 5G as its first 5G enabled flagship phone at MWC 2019. Alongside it, the company announce the LG G8 ThinQ and G8s ThinQ that only supported 4G LTE networks. This year too, LG will be present at the MWC 2020 tech trade show. Citing information from industry sources, a new report on The Korea Herald states that LG will announce the LG V60 ThinQ and a new 5G flagship phone at the MWC 2020.

The report states that the LG V60 ThinQ 5G will be arriving with an upgrade Dual Screen accessory. The company will be aiming this phone in wider markets across South Korea, the U.S and Japan. The specifications of the smartphone are not known, but it is very likely to be driven by the Snapdragon 865 chipset that comes with X55 5G modem that supports dual-mode 5G and mmWave 5G.

The name of the other 5G phone that will debut along with the V60 ThinQ is not known yet. The other 5G phone could be the LG G9 series. However, there is no confirmation on it yet and nothing is not on its specifications.
