The year 2020 has started and Realme is all set to launch its first phone of this year in China. The company has scheduled a launch event for the Realme X50 5G on Jan. 7. At the same event, it will be also unleashing the Realme Buds Air for the home market. Recently, the company had showcased the rear design of the smartphone by releasing its press renders. Even though the company already confirmed the front design of the Realme X50 5G through a teaser image, it had not released any image that completely its frontal appeal. Today, the Chinese firm has shared a new poster on Weibo that reveals the front design of the device.
The Snapdragon 765G powered Realme X50 5G can be seen sporting a display that features a pill-shaped cutout at its top-left corner. It houses two front-facing cameras. The Redmi K30 5G has the cutout for the dual front-facing cameras at the upper right corner. The left edge of the Realme X50 5G has volume up and down buttons whereas its right side which is not visible in the image has a side-facing fingerprint reader. Rumors are rife that the phone features an IPS LCD display that may offer up to 120Hz refresh rate. The chin of the device is quite thick. The top edge of the device only features a microphone.
The rear images of the Realme X50 5G had revealed that it is equipped with a quad camera system. Some reports have claimed that the phone could be equipped with Samsung GW1 64-megapixel primary lens. The device will be backed by a battery that will support enhanced version of VOOC 4.0 30W fast charging.
