The Vivo NEX 3 is one of the pioneer batch of 5G smartphones which was announced back in September last year. During it’s launch event, the device was announced with two color variants including Black and Blue.
Right now, it seems like Vivo is currently prepping a new Orange variant for the device as well. This variant had already been spotted on the Chinese TENAA authority with model number V1950A, which is different from the current V1924A model we saw in the market.
Besides having a new shade, the upcoming variant also seems to be driven by the latest Snapdragon 865 SoC as suggested on it’s official listing. This will be a decent upgrade for the current Vivo Nex 3 which is fueled by a Snapdragon 855+ SoC. Not to forget, the updated version also runs on the latest Android 10 out of the box.
Apart from the aforementioned differences, the rest of the specs will remain similar as the current model. Pricing-wise, the updated model will definitely cost slightly more as well.
Although Vivo has yet to reveal anything about it’s availability so far, but the device could go on sale during one of the upcoming online sales event to commemorate Chinese New Year.
