Multiple reports have claimed that Xiaomi will be launching the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro smartphones in early February. It is even said that the Mi 10 series will be made official before Samsung announces the Galaxy 20, S20+, S20 Ultra 5G and Galaxy Z Flip on Feb. 11. A leaked poster of the Mi 10 is now doing rounds on Weibo. It states that the Xiaomi MI 10 launch event will be also held on Feb. 11. Moreover, the renders of the Mi 10 on the poster shows that it will be borrowing its rear camera design from the Xiaomi Mi MIX Alpha concept phone.
The Xiaomi Mi 10 launch date leaked poster states that the unveil event will be organized in Beijing, China. The series is expected to include Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro. There could be a Mi 10 SE, a successor for the Mi 9 SE from last year.
Couple of Xiaomi MI 10 renders have appeared in the recent past, but none of them have shown the rear design as it can be seen in the leaked launch date poster. The rear camera strip on the Mi 10 is inspired from the Mi MIX Alpha smartphone.
The camera setup has two camera sensors at the top followed by an LED flash. Then there is a 108-megapixel lens as third sensor, a module which seems to be for laser autofocus and a fourth sensor. The left and right edges of the Mi 10’s rear shell is curved.
Readers are advised to digest the Xiaomi Mi 10 launch date poster leak with a grain of salt as its credibility could not be confirmed. Hopefully, Xiaomi will soon confirm on the launch date of the Snapdragon 865 powered Mi 10 series in the coming days.
