Following the successful launch of the HTC One, the Taiwanese company has been seeing a significant improvement in their monthly sales after boosting an impressive 48% sales over April’s figure, according to HTC. However at the same time, another HTC’s COO has reportedly stepped down even though the company has begin recapturing their market share, which had weakened after the introduction of the Samsung Galaxy series 3 years ago.
Like what the company’s CEO Peter Chou has been hoping for, the HTC One handset has indeed became a game-changing flagship for the company – after topping a record 5 millions handsets being sold within less than 3 months. We also expect the figure to rise through the next quarter since U.S. largest carrier Verizon will begin selling the device “later this summer” according to their official source. Similarly, the release of their latest HTC One Google Edition will no doubt increase their sales figure as well.
Seems like Samsung will have a tough time competing with the Taiwanese giant this year.
