iQOO Confirms February 25 Launch Date for iQOO 3

Since the past few weeks, the rumor mill has been actively spilling information on the upcoming iQOO phone. The specifications of the forthcoming iQOO 3 has been revealed through its appearance. Yesterday, a report had claimed that iQOO will be launching a new iQOO phone in India on Feb. 25. The report didn’t confirm the name of the device that it is heading today. Today, the Chinese wing of iQOO officially confirmed that the iQOO 3 will be announced on Feb. 25.

As it can be seen in the poster, the unveil event will take place at 2:30 PM on Feb. 25. Due to the coronavirus outbreak in China, the event will be held online, and it will be livestreamed.

iQOO 3 Specifications

The iQOO 3 is expected to house a 6.44-inch S-AMOLED punch-hole display that offers full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and 20:9 aspect ratio. The Snapdragon 865 mobile platform will be present under its hood. The device could be arriving in China in multiple RAM choices such as 6 GB, 8 GB and 12 GB.

The iQOO 3 could be the first phone in the world to release in the market with UFS 3.1 storage. The handset may come in storage editions like 128 GB and 256 GB. The smartphone is expected to house a 4,410mAh battery. It could be coming with a 55W charger.

For shooting selfies, the iQOO 3 may possess a front camera of 16-megapixel. As per TENAA listing, it could be arriving with a 64-megapixel + 13-megapixel + 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel quad camera setup. However, a recently released teaser suggested that the phone has a 48-megapixel main lens on its back. The pricing of the phone for China is not known. However, the same phone is expected to be priced under Rs. 40,000 in India.
