Motorola Moto G8 Power Lite goes official with an affordable price tag

Motorola has quietly announced a brand new entry-level smartphone known as the Moto G8 Power Lite today. This is in fact the same device which recently made a surprise appearance on Amazon Italy ahead of it’s official launch.

As its name suggests, the device will be a follow-up to the recently announced Moto G8 Power.

Motorola Moto G8 Power Lite Specifications

For starter, the Moto G8 Power Lite features a 6.5″ Max Vision IPS display which carries a decent HD+ screen resolution. It has a dewdrop-notch on it’s front panel that houses an 8 megapixels selfie camera.

On it’s flip-side, there will be a vertically-arranged triple-camera setup which comprises of a 16 megapixels main shooter, 2 megapixels macro lens, as well as a 2 megapixels depth sensor. Moreover, there is also a conventional fingerprint sensor at the back.

Under the hood, Moto G8 Power Lite will be driven by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 SoC coupled with 4GB worth of RAM and 64GB onboard storage space. If 64 gigs storage isn’t sufficient, it is further expandable by up to 256GB via a microSD card.

To keep its lights on, there is a massive 5,000mAh battery sitting at the heart of the device which supports 10W wired charging. Sad to say, the device will run on an outdated Android Pie OS out of the box.

For those who’re interested, the Moto G8 Power Lite will be offered in two color variants including Turquoise and Blue.

Motorola Moto G8 Power Lite Pricing

In terms of pricing, the Moto G8 Power Lite will come with an affordable price tag of just €169 (US$185/ INR14,060).
