Huawei and its sub-brand have a busy schedule ahead. Huawei recently announced the Huawei P40, P40 Pro and P40 Pro+ flagship phones and then Honor unveiled the Honor 30S and Honor 9A phones. On April 9, Honor will be unveiling the Honor Play 4 and Play 4T Pro smartphones. The Honor 30 series of flagship phones are slated to go official on April 15. A fresh leak reveals that the Huawei Nova 7 series will be announced on April 23.
A leakster on Weibo has revealed that Huawei will be unveiling the Nova 7, Nova 7SE and Nova 7 Pro. The three phones are expected to carry support for 5G connectivity. The leak further states that the Nova 7 will be priced 2,000 Yuan to 3,000 Yuan, the Nova 7 SE will cost around 3,000 Yuan and the Nova 7 Pro will be priced around 3,500 Yuan and 4,000 Yuan.
In terms of the chipsets, the Nova 7 series could feature Kirin 820, Kirin 985 and Kirin 990 5G chipsets. The Kirin 985 which is an enhanced version of the Kirin 980 chipset will be positioned between the Kirin 820 chipset and Kirin 990.
A previous leak had revealed that the Huawei Nova 7 SE will be equipped with a 6.5-inch punch-hole screen, side-facing fingerprint reader and a 64-megpaixel main lens on its rear. The device could be coming with support for 22.5W fast charging. Some reports have claimed that since the Nova 6 SE came with Kirin 810 chipset, the 5G-ready Nova 7 SE could be fueled by the Kirin 820 chipset.
Huawei is yet to confirm on the existence of Nova 7 series. Hence, readers are advised to digest the above leak with a grain of salt.
