Honor Play 4T, Play 4T Pro Official Renders Appear, Reservations Begin in China

Earlier today, Honor confirmed that it will be launching the Honor Play 4T smartphone in China on April 9. The smartphone is now up for reservations across various Chinese retailers of China such as JD.com, Suning and Tmall.

The Honor Play 4T includes two models namely, Honor Play 4T and Play 4T Pro. While both phones have rectangle-camera housing on their rear that includes three cameras and an LED flash, their front design are different.

One handset has a waterdrop notch and in-screen fingerprint reader and the other has a punch-hole display with a regular rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. Hence, it appears that the handset with regular fingerprint reader is the Honor Play 4T phone whereas the one with under-display fingerprint sensor is the Honor Play 4T Pro handset.

The Honor Play 4T reservation listings show that it will be arriving in three colors like black, green and gradient blue. The Play 4T Pro can be seen in green color. However, it could be also available in other colors.

Honor Play 4T and Play 4T Pro Specifications

It appears that the Honor Play 4T Pro is the AQM-AL10 smartphone that was certified by China’s TENAA telecom authority in the previous month. The Honor Play 4T could be the AKA-AL10 phone that was also approved by TENAA last month.

Hence, the Honor Play 4T Pro has a 6.3-inch full HD+ 20:9 AMOLED display, Kirin 810 chipset up to 8 GB of RAM, up to 256 GB of native storage, 16-megapixel front camera, 48-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel triple camera and 4,000mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging support.

The Honor Play 4T on the other hand, has a 6.39-inch IPS LCD HD+ display, 2.0GHz octa-core processor, up to 6 GB of RAM, up to 128 GB of storage, 48-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual camera, 8-megapixel front camera and 4,000mAh battery.
