Vivo sub-brand iQOO launched the Snapdragon 865 powered iQOO 3 flagship phone. Recent reports have revealed that the company next phone will be called iQOO Neo3. It could be another SD865 phone from iQOO. iQOO General Manager said on Weibo that the company’s next product will adopt the concept of “3 + 2 flagship supreme package.”
So, what does the 3 + 2 flagship supreme package mean? Reliable tipster @Ice Universe took to Weibo said that 3 refers to features like Snapdragon 865 + 120Hz refresh rate display and UFS 3.1 storage and 2 refers to 4,500mAh battery and 44W fast charging support. It is speculated that the iQOO Neo3 will be also arriving with support for Wi-Fi 6.
The iQOO Neo3 is expected to house an IPS LCD punch-hole display that will allow users to choose between refresh rate options like 60Hz, 90Hz and 120Hz. The smartphone will come preloaded with FunTouch OS 10 UI based Android 10 OS.
The model number of the iQOO Neo3 smartphone is V1981. The SD865 chipset that powers the phone will be coupled with 6 GB of RAM. It will arrive with a native storage of 128 GB. The handset may sell in other RAM and storage combinations.
There is no word on the launch date of the iQOO Neo3 smartphone. The Chinese firm has just started teasing the phone which indicates that it may break cover by the end of this month. Currently, the Redmi K30 Pro is selling as the cheapest Snapdragon 865 SoC powered phone. The iQOO Neo3 could be aimed to rival with the K30 Pro.
