OPPO has quietly announced the highly-anticipated OPPO A92s mid-ranger smartphone in the Chinese market today. As with most of the company’s mid-ranger smartphones, there will be no official launch event for the OPPO A92s.
OPPO A92s Specifications
The OPPO A92s features a dual hole-punched LTPS LCD display which measures approximate 6.57-inches diagonally. The interesting thing is that the device has a buttery-smooth 120Hz screen refresh rate which is typically found only among flagship phones. Moreover, the dual hole-punched compartment will be home to a 16 megapixels shooter and a 2 megapixels ultra-wide lens.
Over at the back, the device will tout a quad-camera setup housed within a squarish camera module. The four sensors consist of a 48 megapixels main snapper, 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens, 2 megapixels macro camera, as well as a 2 megapixels depth sensor.
Under the hood, the OPPO A92s will be driven by an octa-core Mediatek’s Dimensity 800 SoC which allows the device to support both standalone (SA) and non-standalone (NSA) 5G modes. This will be coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB onboard storage.
To keep its lights on, there will be a 4,000mAh battery which supports 18W fast-charging support. Software-wise, the device will run on the latest ColorOS 7 based on Android 10 OS.
For those who’re interested, the device will be available in 3 color variants including White, Black and Pink.
OPPO A92s Pricing
Currently, the OPPO A92s is already up for registration in the Chinese market. The device will be priced at 2,199 Yuan (US$311) and 2,499 Yuan (US$353) respectively for its 6GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB models.
