Recent reports have claimed that Xiaomi is working on the launch of a new phone called Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite 5G (aka Xiaomi Mi 10 Youth Edition) for China. Also, some reports have claimed that the Chinese manufacturer may unveil MIUI 12 by the end of this month. Today, the company took to Weibo to announce it will announce both products on April 27.
The official poster released by the company reveals that the Xiaomi Mi 10 Youth Edition will have a square-shaped camera module on its rear. The fourth sensor is a square-shaped lens which indicates that it has a periscope zoom lens. It will bring support for up to 50x digital zoom. Without mentioning any details on the MIUI 12, the company confirm that both products will be revealed at 2 PM (local time) on April 27. The company has released another poster that confirms the color variants of the phone.
A Xiaomi phone that has model number of M2002J9E had recently acquired 3C certification in China. It was found that it is a 5G-ready phone that may arrive with a charger that supports 22.5W fast charging. It appears that this device will be heading to China as the Xiaomi Mi 10 Youth Edition.
A Chinese tipster had recently revealed that the Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite is a thin and a lightweight 5G-ready smartphone. It has a thickness of 7.98mm and it weighs 192 grams. The device is rumored to house a 4,160mAh battery.
At the end of the previous month, Xiaomi had launched the MI 10 Lite 5G phone in Europe with a price of 349 euros. It appears that the same phone could be debuting on April 27 in China. Interestingly, the Chines edition will have an enhanced camera system.
